Job summary

Main Event Entertainment seeks a Food Runner to support servers and ensure guests enjoy an amazing dining experience at our Orlando location.

You will help with refills, pre-bussing, turns, and keeping dining spaces spotless while greeting guests and taking drink orders. Safety and sanitation are a priority in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Prior food and beverage experience is a plus but not required.
• Guest-focused mindset and friendly attitude are essential.
• Teamwork is a must to coordinate with servers and kitchen.
• Certifications required: Food Handlers and Alcohol.
• Good communication and a sense of urgency in a fast-paced setting.
• Able to handle multiple tasks and assist guests promptly.
• Clear communication with management, team, and guests.
• Availability to work days, nights, and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Upholding cleanliness and safety standards.
• Assisting with greeting Guests and taking drink orders.
• Delivering food and drinks in a timely manner and anticipating Guest needs.
• Supporting the Server by refilling condiments, pre-bussing tables, and turning tables.

• Performing opening, mid-day, or closing duties.

Job Description:

At Main Event, our Food Runners support the Server to ensure that our Guests have an amazing experience! As a Food Runner, your primary duty is to help with refills, pre-bussing tables, helping with table turns, and making sure the dining areas are spotlessly clean! You also assist with aspects of service like greeting Guests and taking drink orders. You’re also dedicated to delivering the highest standards in safety and sanitation.

WHAT WILL YOU BE DOING DAILY?

• Upholding our cleanliness and safety standards (We take this seriously!)


• Assisting with greeting Guests and taking drink orders


• Delivering food and drinks in a timely manner and anticipating Guest’s needs

POSITION REQUIREMENTS

• Prior food and beverage experience a plus but not required
