Buck & Honey’s in Wisconsin is seeking enthusiastic food runners to join our team as Support Staff. Evening shifts mid-week and weekend availability (AM/PM) are required for this part-time role. Applicants must be at least 16 years old.

As a support staff member, you’ll assist servers and bartenders, help host and buss tables, and contribute to a friendly guest experience. Training is provided, and we value positivity, reliability, and teamwork in a fast-paced restaurant environment.

Position: Support Staff – Food Runner

Reporting To: General Manager, FOH Manager
FLSA Classification: Part-Time

Job Summary

Buck & Honey’s is seeking enthusiastic and friendly food runners to join our team! Candidates must be available for evening shift mid-week, and must be available for weekend shifts (AM and PM). Applicants must be at least 16 years of age to be considered for this role.

As a support staff member, you’ll assist servers and bartenders to create a unique and memorable experience for our guests. In this role, you may serve as a host, busser, food runner, or dock hand, contributing to the seamless flow of restaurant operations. At Buck & Honey’s, support staff deliver exceptional hospitality with enthusiasm, positivity, and a personal touch.

Duties and Responsibilities

Guest Interactions

• Act professionally and positively with coworkers, guests, and the public.
• Answer phones, take reservations, and process take-out orders (hosts, dock hands).
• Clear and reset tables efficiently.
• Collaborate as a supportive teammate with all coworkers.

Housekeeping

• Maintain pristine cleanliness throughout the restaurant.
• Perform hourly restroom checks, ensuring proper levels of supplies (e.g., paper towels, soap, toilet paper).

Working Conditions

• Physical Requirements:
  • Active role involving standing and walking for extended periods (up to 8 hours).
  • Ability to lift and carry 25-40 lbs. and perform physical tasks such as bending, reaching, and stooping.
  • Visual acuity to distinguish shapes and ensure safety.
  • Hearing ability to understand and respond to verbal communication effectively.
• Environment:
  • Moderate to loud noise typical of a restaurant environment.
  • Exposure to outdoor environmental factors during the summer season.
