StripSteak by The MINA Group in Waikiki invites a Food Runner to connect kitchen and dining room with precision and grace. You will leverage strong food knowledge and hospitality passion to enhance guest experiences while collaborating closely with culinary and service teams.

The role demands excellent communication, the ability to work under pressure, and a willingness to learn and lead alongside peers in a vibrant, upscale environment on Oahu.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years’ experience in fine dining or high-volume casual dining.
• Excellent communication skills and strong food knowledge.
• Ability to learn quickly and work under pressure.

About the Role

As a Food Runner at StripSteak, you are a key link between the kitchen and dining room, ensuring dishes arrive with precision, accuracy, and grace. With strong food knowledge, attention to detail, and a passion for hospitality, you’ll help create memorable guest experiences while working closely with both the culinary and service teams.

What you bring to the table

• 1-3 years’ experience in a fine dining or casual fine dining high volume atmosphere
• Exceptional communication skills
• Strong food knowledge
• Ability to learn and retain information quickly
• Intellectual curiosity
• Ability to work clean, organized, and as part of a teamAbility to move and lift 40 pounds at a time
• At least 16 years of age
• Must be able to stand and walk for an extended period of time

Pay rate

$14.75/hour plus tips
