Job summary

Lucky Strike Entertainment in New Jersey is seeking a part-time Food Runner to support our bowling centers. You will deliver guests’ food and beverage orders, liaise with lane servers and kitchen staff, and help maintain a clean, fast-paced environment.

You must be at least 18, with prior restaurant or hospitality experience preferred. You will learn the menu, promotions, and weekly specials, ring sales accurately, and promote responsible alcohol service while complying with local regulations.

Qualifications

• Experience in hospitality or restaurant settings is helpful.
• Must be at least 18 years old to be eligible to serve alcohol (state requirement).

Responsibilities

• Deliver guests’ food & beverage orders.
• Work with lane servers and kitchen staff to ensure orders are accurate and timely.
• Learn menu, promotions, and weekly specials and relay them to guests.
• Accurately ring sales for all Food & Beverage items.
• Help keep the center clean and safe.
• Promote responsible alcohol sales and comply with local regulations.

WHAT OUR FOOD RUNNERS DO

Our Food Runners take and fulfill food and drink orders (sometimes liaising with a lane server/captain, sometimes going directly to the guest) and do their part to help maintain the overall cleanliness of the center and ensure the guest experience is the absolute best it can be.

A FOOD RUNNER’S DAY-TO-DAY

• Deliver guests’ food & beverage orders
• Work with lane servers and kitchen staff to ensure orders are taken and prepared accurately and swiftly
• Learn our menu, promotions, and weekly specials and relay them to our guests
• Accurately ring sales for all Food & Beverage
• Help keep the center clean
• Promote responsible alcohol sales and service and comply with all local regulations

WHAT IT TAKES

• HS Diploma or equivalent restaurant/hospitality experience (Optional)
• Proven success in school/previous job experience
• Must meet the minimum age required by state law to serve alcohol

The pay range for this position is $16.00 to $17.50 / hour
