Job summary

Great American Restaurants’ Sweetwater Tavern in Sterling, VA is seeking a Food Runner to join our high-volume team. You will deliver food from the grill to guests, ensure timely and gracious service, and help maintain an exceptional dining experience for every guest.

We offer competitive starting pay of $18+ per hour, paid training, and benefits including health insurance, PTO, and a 401K based on eligibility, with opportunities for growth within our award-winning restaurant group.

Responsibilities

• Providing excellent hospitality and a one-of-a-kind dining experience to our guests
• Delivering all food orders to guests in a timely and gracious manner
• Providing support for kitchen operations and being the final set of eyes on food as it leaves the kitchen
• Following recipe and presentation guidelines to meet or exceed guest’s expectations
• Having outstanding menu knowledge

Food Runners are dedicated professionals who work as a team to bring our amazing food from the grill to the guests and provide them with an exceptionally distinctive dining experience!

Food Runners earn $18+ per hour

Duties include, but are not limited to the following:

• Providing excellent hospitality and a one-of-a-kind dining experience to our guests
• Delivering all food orders to guests in a timely and gracious manner
• Providing support for kitchen operations and being the final set of eyes on food as it leaves the kitchen
• Following recipe and presentation guidelines to meet or exceed guest’s expectations
• Having outstanding menu knowledge
