Job summary

Dave & Buster’s/Main Event Entertainment is seeking a Food Runner to support servers and ensure guests have an amazing experience. You will assist with refills, pre-bussing tables, turning tables to expedite service, and keeping dining areas clean while greeting guests and taking drink orders.

You’ll contribute to safety and sanitation, work in a fast-paced environment, and perform opening, mid-day, or closing duties as assigned to help our team shine.

Qualifications

• Prior food and beverage service experience is a plus but not required.
• Able to maintain high standards of cleanliness and safety.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Deliver food and drinks promptly and anticipate Guest needs.

Job Description:

At Dave & Buster’s/Main Event Entertainment, our Food Runners support the Server to ensure that our Guests have an amazing experience! As a Food Runner, your primary duty is to help with refills, pre-bussing tables, helping with table turns, and making sure the dining areas are spotlessly clean! You also assist with aspects of service like greeting Guests and taking drink orders. You’re also dedicated to delivering the highest standards in safety and sanitation.

WHAT WILL YOU BE DOING DAILY?

• Upholding our cleanliness and safety standards (We take this seriously!)
• Assisting with greeting Guests and taking drink orders
• Delivering food and drinks in a timely manner while anticipating Guest’s needs
• Supporting the Server by refilling condiments, pre-bussing tables, and turning tables to expedite Guest service
• Creating memorable experiences by providing exceptional Guest service
• Performing opening, mid-day, or closing duties as assigned

POSITION REQUIREMENTS

• Prior food and beverage experience is a plus but not required
• Comply with the company uniform standards
• Always be ready to create a memorable guest experience
• Teamwork is a must (Remember, teamwork makes the dream work!)
• Attention to detail and the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
• Can effectively communicate with Management, Team Members, and Guests
• Must act with a swift sense of urgency
• Availability to work days, nights, weekends, and holidays (subject to business needs)
