dnata Catering USA is seeking a Food Runner to support our aviation catering team by delivering trays of meals, snacks, and beverages to aircraft and coordinating with the production team to ensure accuracy and timeliness.
You will verify meal counts, check for missing items, and ensure proper setup and transport of food and equipment, while maintaining cleanliness and following safety protocols in a fast-paced environment.

As a Food Runner at dnata Catering, you will be an integral part of our aviation catering team, ensuring the timely and efficient delivery of food and beverages to airline clients. Your primary responsibility will be to coordinate and deliver trays of prepared meals, snacks, and beverages to aircraft, following strict safety and hygiene protocols. Working closely with the production team, you will ensure the accurate and complete assembly of meal trays, verifying meal counts and adhering to specific airline requirements. With a strong attention to detail, you will check for any missing or damaged items before loading the trays onto trolleys for transportation. As a Food Runner, you will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and organization in the food preparation and staging areas, as well as ensuring that all necessary supplies and equipment are readily available for each flight. You will work in a fast-paced environment, collaborating closely with other team members to ensure the seamless and timely delivery of meals to the aircraft. High school diploma or GED with 1 years related experience.
While performing the essential functions of this job, the employee is continuously asked to multi-task under time limits. Position requires constant attention to precise details and accuracy of specified standards including following simple to complex (more than 3 steps) instructions, and concentration which frequently extends beyond 30 minutes at a time. This position also requires constant attendance and punctuality - Is consistently at work and on time. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk; reach with hands and arms and stoop, kneel, or crouch. The employee must regularly lift and /or move up to 30 pounds. The essential functions of this position are performed indoors. The noise level in the work environment can range from minimal to loud.
