Job summary

The ONE Group in Baltimore is seeking a Food Runner to deliver an elevated guest experience by ensuring food is delivered quickly, accurately, and beautifully presented. You will work closely with the kitchen and service teams to maintain a smooth flow from kitchen to table.

The ideal candidate has a strong work ethic, can multi-task in a fast-paced setting, and is able to stand long hours while carrying trays.

• Must be able to stand for long periods and lift 20 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Ensure food is prepared and delivered according to THE ONE GROUP’s quality standards
• Possess full menu knowledge and confidently describe dishes to guests
• Maintain awareness of table numbers, seat assignments, and floor plans for efficient service
• Follow proper service procedures when delivering food, ensuring an exceptional guest experience
• Offer condiments and accompaniments when appropriate
• Communicate seamlessly with servers and kitchen staff to ensure timely and accurate food delivery
• Assist servers and bussers with guest requests and overall service needs
• Always maintain a clean and organized service area
• Follow health and sanitation regulations to ensure food safety and cleanliness
• Be available to assist in restaurant setup, cleaning, and general service tasks as directed by management

• Communicate seamlessly with servers and kitchen staff to ensure timely and accurate food delivery
• Assist servers and bussers with guest requests and overall service needs
• Always maintain a clean and organized service area
• Follow health and sanitation regulations to ensure food safety and cleanliness
• Be available to assist in restaurant setup, cleaning, and general service tasks as directed by management
