Job summary

A new dining concept in Austin is seeking a Food Runner to facilitate the experience between the kitchen and wait staff. The ideal candidate will be friendly, hardworking, and eager to enter the hospitality industry. Responsibilities include serving food, communicating orders, and maintaining cleanliness in the restaurant. Previous experience is preferred, along with a focus on customer service and food safety regulations.

Qualifications

• Experience in a food runner or similar position preferred.
• Understanding of food safety guidelines is important.
• Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 30 pounds.
• Friendly, outgoing personality.

Responsibilities

• Serve food and beverages to customers efficiently.
• Communicate food orders to kitchen staff.
• Clear tables and reset them for new guests.
• Ensure adherence to health and safety regulations.
• Remove tablecloths and reset tables.
• Remove dirty dishes, glasses, and silverware from tables.

Job Summary

We are seeking a Food Runner to join the team at our restaurant! As a Food Runner, you are the link between the kitchen and the wait staff. You will deliver food, clear plates, fulfill guest needs and generally act as the liaison between the front of house and back of the house. If you’re friendly, hard-working, and interested in getting your foot in the door in the hospitality industry, we want to hear from you.
