Job summary

Food Connect seeks an Independent Contractor driver to transport prepared meals and food donations across Montgomery and Chester Counties. The role involves mobile app usage, route coordination, and community deliveries to shelters and homes in need.

You will operate a cargo van or sprinter, pick up from partner restaurants, and ensure timely deliveries while adhering to safety standards and background checks. Immediate start for reliable, civic-minded individuals committed to hunger relief.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older
• Valid driver’s license
• Own a Cargo Van or Sprinter Van
• Current auto insurance
• Comfortable using mobile apps & technology
• Own a smartphone
• Live in the Montgomery & Chester County area (or surrounding counties)
• Able to lift at least 50 lbs
• Pass an MVR check (Motor Vehicle Record)
• Pass a background check

Responsibilities

• Transport food donations and meal deliveries to various locations in and around Lehigh County, PA.
• Pick up prepared food from local restaurants and deliver to community shelters and homes.
• Assist with transporting non-perishable food boxes as needed and support hunger relief efforts.
