POLITICO is seeking a Senior Research Analyst to help lead AgencyIQ's regulatory intelligence for life sciences and food industries. The role focuses on analyzing federal and state policy changes and delivering timely insights to regulatory professionals.

Based in POLITICO’s Arlington, VA office, you will join a team producing daily content, in-depth research, and briefings, while collaborating across teams and supporting subscriber events.

Qualifications

• At least 4 years’ experience analyzing U.S. food regulatory policy.
• Strong writing ability for a business/policy audience.
• Experience in fast-paced, research-driven environments delivering daily analyses.
• Excellent working knowledge of the FDA food regulatory process.

Responsibilities

• Produce daily topical intelligence articles and content for subscribers based on regulatory developments.
• Serve as subject matter specialist on food topics for AgencyIQ (e.g., labeling, packaging, nutrition).
• Lead or participate in in-depth analysis, deep-dive research, webinars and newsletters.
• Collaborate with AgencyIQ team focusing on chemical, food and life sciences regulation.
• Participate in subscriber- and prospect-facing events and briefings.
