Job summary

The Hunger Task Force of La Crosse seeks a Warehouse Worker/Non CDL Driver to support its Food Recovery Program in La Crosse, WI. This role operates under the Warehouse Manager and the Executive Director, assisting daily program operations.

Under supervision, you will help with donations, pickups, deliveries, inventory and records, while promoting the program and upholding safety and sanitation standards. Lifting up to 50 pounds is required.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of safety and sanitation procedures.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds frequently.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist with donations, food pickups and deliveries, and proper storage under supervision.
• Maintain Food Recovery Program inventory and keep records of donations and deliveries.
• Coordinate with recipient agencies to identify their needs and provide appropriate foods.
• Assist with program promotion and events when appropriate.
