Job summary

The Findlay Group in Caldwell, Idaho operates a QA Testing Lab to perform physical testing of batter samples and support quality and food safety programs across the group’s facilities. The role reports to the Quality Systems Supervisor and collaborates with Production Managers and Plant Manager.

Responsibilities include product testing, COA review, sampling for microbiological testing, and maintaining GMP-compliant records.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Basic proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Support alignment with the company's Strategic Plan.
• Maintain compliance with Health & Safety Programs.
• Maintain compliance with Quality and Food Safety Programs.
• Perform product testing, including viscosity, chloride testing, and allergen swabbing.
• Accurately document and report test results in a timely manner.
• Review incoming COAs against established product specifications.
• Collect product samples for re-testing and submit samples for microbiological testing.
• Use Excel and the company's inventory management system to enter, retrieve, and maintain information.
• Maintain inventory of laboratory and quality supplies and request replenishment as needed.
• Provide sanitation support and perform Environmental Monitoring Program (EMP) swabbing and monitoring.
• Prepare shipping documentation and assist with coordinating outgoing loads.
• Provide support to the Operations, Technical, and Quality teams as needed.
• Assist with record scanning, filing, and document management.
• Perform other quality-related duties and responsibilities as assigned.
