Job summary

Village Gourmet is hiring a QC Technician in Wilkes-Barre, PA to support our Quality & Food Safety team at the Three Little Pigs – House of Bricks facility. You will help protect product quality, safety, and integrity throughout the manufacturing process.

We are seeking detail-oriented, safety-minded individuals who are passionate about food quality and want to grow within a structured technical career path.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Experience in quality control or food manufacturing preferred.
• USDA-regulated facility experience is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to document accurately.
• Ability to read specifications and SOPs.

Responsibilities

• Perform in-process quality and food safety checks.
• Verify weights, temperatures, labels, packaging, and codes.
• Document out-of-spec conditions and deviations.
• Maintain quality records and hourly logs.
• Ensure compliance with USDA, SQF, HACCP, GMP, allergen control.
