Job summary

Foremost Farms is seeking a Quality Control Laboratory Supervisor to oversee daily lab operations, ensuring accurate testing of raw materials, in‑process and finished products. The role focuses on GLP compliance, safety and regulatory adherence, while guiding staff and coordinating external testing as needed.

Key duties include data analysis, lot release testing, calibration oversight, and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives within a plant laboratory setting in Wisconsin.

Qualifications

• 2-5 years' experience in laboratory in a food manufacturing environment with a strong understanding of GLPs and laboratory safety practices.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to work accurately and efficiently.
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to successfully interact and communicate with internal cross-functional teams, and all organizational levels.

Responsibilities

• Oversees test result collection, analysis and reporting of data to appropriate stakeholders.
• Ensures timely and accurate testing to support product release.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency, compliance, and service levels.
• Serve as primary back-up to the Quality Control Supervisor.
• Performs internal audits and ensures compliance with SQF, FSMA and PCQI requirements.
