Job summary

TULKOFF FOOD PRODUCTS OHIO LLC in Cincinnati, OH is seeking a Quality Control Technician to ensure food safety and product quality on the production floor. You will monitor GMPs, perform ATP swabs, and collaborate with QA/QC managers.

The role emphasizes documenting data accurately, supporting HACCP monitoring, and ensuring regulatory compliance with SQF, FDA FSMA, and USDA standards. Strong communication and PC skills with Excel and Word are required.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of food safety practices, safety programs and HACCP.
• Experience in a lab environment; wet chemistry preferred.
• 1–2 years of industry experience in a food manufacturing facility.
• Proficient PC skills including Excel and Microsoft Word.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Detail oriented with accurate and legible documentation.

Responsibilities

• Monitor production line for GMPs and cleanliness.
• Perform daily ATP swabs and sanitation inspections.
• Report to and work closely with QA and/or QC Managers.
• Create labels and tags as needed for production hold and release.
• Resolve daily issues and provide information on quality concerns.
• Approve samples, open lab, and perform other duties as assigned.
• Perform duties using effective communication skills.
• Understand SQF, FDA FSMA, USDA and other regulations compliance for documents.
• HACCP monitoring activities.
• Document all data and communicate to supervisors and management.
• Fill in as needed in other areas of the Quality Department.
