Job summary

Actalent is seeking a QA Technician for a Contract to Hire role on the Brockton, MA production floor and QA lab. You will perform in‑process testing, HACCP audits, label verification, and environmental swabbing to ensure product safety and quality.

Ideal candidates have 0–3 years in QA, an associate or bachelor in sciences, and a hands‑on approach to GMP, documentation, and food quality in a manufacturing setting.

Qualifications

• Experience: 0-3 years in a Quality Assurance role; experience in food plant processes.
• Associates degree in the sciences with 1-2 years of experience in industry or academic setting.
• Bachelor with 1 year of experience in industry or academic setting.

Responsibilities

• Conduct in-process analytical testing on products, including % soluble solids, viscosity and color.
• Audit cook stations and packaging lines for HACCP compliance and GMP adherence.
• Ensure daily food safety and quality of products produced or packaged.
• Verify printed labels and packaging films meet approved standards.
• Perform environmental swabbing of equipment as required.
• Provide coverage on the production floor and QA lab as needed.
• Accurately complete all required daily documentation.
