Job summary

Ever Fresh Fruit Co is seeking a Quality Assurance Specialist to support SQF compliance and QA operations. You will back up QA leadership, analyze nonconformances, and manage CAPAs while maintaining supplier and customer documentation portals.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree in a related field with 2+ years in the food industry, strong analytical skills, and HACCP/SQF experience. On-site work with potential travel and collaboration across teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required in relevant field.
• 2+ years of food-industry experience preferred.
• Strong analytical and investigative skills; knowledge of statistics beneficial.
• Experience with root cause analysis and CAPAs preferred.
• HACCP certification and SQF experience preferred.
• Lean/Six Sigma training preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support compliance with regulations and SQF program under QA Manager guidance.
• Serve as backup to QA Supervisor and QA Technicians.
• Perform nonconformance analysis and trend tracking.
• Conduct root cause analysis for CAPAs.
• Manage customer and supplier complaints.
• Develop and revise SOPs and quality documents.
• Maintain portals for customer and supplier documents (TraceGains, Kosher, Organic).
• Conduct routine supplier audits and product testing (e.g., pH, Brix).
• Verify HACCP and food safety records; validate processes.
