Volt is immediately hiring for a food production company in Brea, CA!

This client is one of the top food production companies in Orange County and offers a great opportunity for the right candidates.

We have multiple openings on 1st and 2nd shifts with potential overtime. These positions are full-time, temp-to-hire, and you can start immediately!

Your role is to produce high-quality bakery products using various processing equipment. Team members are expected to actively participate in Safety, Quality, and Productivity. All positions are physically demanding and require flexibility to perform various tasks around the warehouse. Associates must be able to work overtime and weekends as needed.

Job Duties: MUST BE FLEXIBLE TO CROSS-TRAIN

• Operate in work groups and monitor processes within an area of responsibility.
• Comply with and follow bakery policies and standards under limited supervision.
• Follow recipes to produce food products; set up, operate, and tend equipment that cooks, mixes, or blends ingredients.
• Understand the proper use of all equipment including refrigerators, freezers, proofers, ovens, racks, and thermometers.
• Prepare, produce, and package products.
• Operate processing equipment while evaluating product and package quality.
• Maintain equipment and workspace cleanliness.
• Perform other duties as assigned by Supervisors and Managers.
• Adhere to uniform and grooming policies as defined by the company.
• Meet punctuality and attendance standards.

Minimum Requirements:

• Experience in food production is preferred but not required.
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs repeatedly, stand, and walk during an 8-10 hour shift.
• Non-slip shoes are mandatory.

Pay Rates:

• $16.50/hr for 1st shift (5:00 AM - 1:30 PM) + OT
• $16.50/hr for 1st shift (6:00 AM - 2:30 PM) + OT
• $16.50/hr for 2nd shift (1:30 PM - 10:00 PM) + OT

Schedule: Monday through Friday.

Pay range depends on factors such as education, experience, location, and certifications.
