Job summary

Legacy House of Centennial Hills is seeking a dedicated Food Production Worker to support daily food preparation and meal service while upholding high standards for quality, sanitation, and presentation.

You will follow standardized recipes, assist with portioning and plating, and help maintain a clean, safe kitchen. This role emphasizes teamwork, reliability, and adherence to food safety practices in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Experience in food preparation or production preferred.
• Ability to read and follow recipes, menus, production instructions, and food safety procedures.
• Knowledge of safe food handling and sanitation practices.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Willingness to work weekends, holidays, or various shifts.
• Food Handler Permit or certification as required by state/regulations.

Responsibilities

• Prepare food items according to standardized recipes, menus, and established quality standards.
• Gather ingredients, supplies, and equipment needed for daily food production.
• Follow production schedules to ensure food is prepared and ready for scheduled meal service.
• Monitor food for proper taste, smell, appearance, temperature, and overall quality.
• Assist with portioning, plating, and serving food before and during meal periods.
• Properly store, label, rotate, and handle food products.
• Follow established food safety, sanitation, infection control, and loss prevention procedures.
• Safely and efficiently use kitchen equipment, utensils, and supplies.
• Minimize food waste through proper preparation, portioning, and storage practices.
• Assist with maintaining menus, recipes, production records, and other required documentation.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized food preparation environment.
• Work collaboratively with culinary and service associates to support an efficient meal service.
