Job summary

The Wenger Group is seeking a Production Team Member to support safe, efficient manufacturing of products in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities include production, packaging, labeling, quality checks, and documentation to meet USDA requirements and company standards.

Ideal candidates will follow procedures, maintain productivity, and contribute to overall operations while supporting a clean, safe workplace and team members across production areas.

Qualifications

• Ability to distinguish between products, private-label products, and specialty pork cuts.
• Basic math skills.
• Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Safely handle products, materials, and equipment throughout the production process.
• Perform production, packaging, labeling, and material handling tasks as assigned.
• Inspect products for quality, accuracy, and compliance with company standards.
• Record and document production information, weights, or inventory data as required.
• Ensure products are correctly packaged, labeled, and placed in appropriate containers.
• Follow all food safety, sanitation, quality control, and workplace safety procedures.
• Operate equipment and tools safely and efficiently, following established procedures.
• Maintain a clean, organized work environment and support team members.
• Report quality, safety, equipment, or production concerns to the supervisor.
• Help ensure compliance with all company policies, regulatory requirements, and customer specifications.
