Job summary

Meijer Inc. is seeking a dedicated team member to safely operate food manufacturing equipment, ensuring formulas are accurate and paperwork is completed. You will meet daily production goals, maintain product quality, and adhere to GMP/CCP/QCP standards.

The role requires reading and writing English at an 8th grade level, with preference for prior food manufacturing experience. Flexibility for off-shift hours and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs are essential.

Qualifications

• High School education or GED preferred.
• Must be able to read and write English to an 8th grade level.
• Previous food manufacturing experience preferred.
• Must be detail oriented.
• Must be able to effectively work in a team environment.
• Ability to work in a fast paced, multifaceted environment.
• Ability to work a flexible/off shift schedule.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Must be able to work from heights.

Responsibilities

• Operate equipment within a designated area to meet daily production goals.
• Ensure product quality and adjust equipment as needed.
• Complete required paperwork accurately.
• Follow GMPs, CCPs, and QCPs at all times.
• Report safety or maintenance concerns to team leaders.
• Train and instruct other team members on equipment operation.
