Job summary

Meijer Inc. is seeking a Production Equipment Operator to ensure safe operation of food manufacturing equipment and accurate product formulas. You will assemble, set up, and disassemble equipment, operate and clean machinery, and complete required paperwork to meet daily production goals.

The role requires attention to detail, the ability to work in a fast-paced team environment, and lifting up to 50 lbs. Prior food manufacturing experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Must be detail oriented and able to work in a team.
• Able to read and write English to at least an 8th grade level.
• Experience in food manufacturing is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assemble, setup and disassemble production equipment for processing and packaging.
• Operate and clean key production equipment in designated areas.
• Meet daily production goals and ensure product quality.
• Complete required paperwork accurately and follow GMP/ CCP/ QCP protocols.
• Train and instruct other team members on proper operation of equipment.
