Job summary

Rich Products Corporation is seeking a General Laborer to support production on the plant floor, reading and following safety rules, and assisting on the production line with standard procedures. Responsibilities include assisting with labeling, packing, line speed maintenance, and participation in continuous improvement efforts.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Ability to read safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedures.
• Ability to write simple correspondence and communicate effectively with others.
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure.
• Ability to participate in Production Improvement Teams and other temporary teams.
• Ability to identify problems and conduct basic troubleshooting.
• Ability and desire to train other associates.

Responsibilities

• Follow manufacturing procedures and processes.
• Work on a production line to assist with manufacturing products.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Read and apply production codes and labels accurately.
• Assist with packaging, labeling and quality checks on the line.
• Support end-of-shift material resealing and equipment shutdown per procedures.
