Job summary

Adecco Staffing is recruiting for production positions on all shifts with a local client in Chester, VT. This is a temp-hire opportunity providing a stable entry into the food manufacturing industry.

Responsibilities include preparing equipment, measuring ingredients, following batch schedules, maintaining cleanliness, and complying with GMP and safety standards while working with fellow team members to produce high-quality products.

Qualifications

• Clear communication, both verbal and written.
• Ability to understand and operate computer controlled production equipment.
• Ability to perform basic math and measurements.
• Basic mechanical skills for equipment handling.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and verify equipment, tools and materials for each shift.
• Measure and mix ingredients according to specifications.
• Work without direct supervision and stay self-motivated.
• Operate mixing equipment and assist in production of all products.
• Maintain cleanliness and comply with GMP and safety procedures.
• Follow lot control, FIFO, and documentation requirements.
• Report safety hazards and cooperate with supervision.
• Cross-train and collaborate with team to meet company goals.
