Job summary

Shearer's Foods is hiring a Food Processing Operator at our Maine facility. You will set up and operate industrial equipment, follow precise recipes, and monitor quality data during production.

Day and night shifts run on a 7:00–7:00 schedule with competitive pay ($20.65/hr base) plus shift differentials; a $2,500 sign-on bonus is offered, paid in installments. Equal opportunity employer committed to safety and quality.

Qualifications

• Experience operating industrial food processing equipment.
• Ability to read and follow recipes and procedures.
• Basic math and data interpretation.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate industrial food processing equipment,
• Follow precise recipes and work procedures, monitoring and adjusting processing variables
• Perform product quality tests and data collection
• Monitor fryer temperatures and oil temperatures to ensure proper oil temps
• Clean and sanitize processing equipment
• Change slicing heads every hour to maintain slicing consistency.
