Job summary
Greenwood Associates Inc. is a family-owned distributor serving the food and beverage industry since 1974. We are seeking a Maintenance Mechanic to support facility upkeep, focusing on fluid processing equipment, motors, and conveyors.
This is a full-time, non-exempt hourly role with start times between 10:00 AM and 3:00 PM, reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor. You will perform preventive maintenance, troubleshoot issues, inspect equipment, and supervise contractors when needed while
Qualifications
- Experience in maintaining manufacturing facilities and equipment.
- Ability to read blueprints and repair manuals.
- Knowledge of electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
- Familiar with OSHA safety standards and regulations.
Responsibilities
- Assist in preventive maintenance and diagnostics of machines.
- Perform routine and emergency repairs to keep facilities operational.
- Inspect premises and equipment regularly and document results.
- Complete work orders and maintain proper records.
- Coordinate with production and oversee contractors when needed.
- Maintain a clean, safe work area and comply with safety procedures.
