Blount Fine Foods Corp. is seeking an assistant to support mixing, blending, and cooking of raw ingredients on processing lines. The role involves assisting Blender Operators, setting up and breaking down equipment, and ensuring recipes are followed precisely.

The position emphasizes adherence to GMPs, food safety policies, and the ability to train new staff. Candidates should be prepared for a fast-paced environment and physical duties on the line.

Qualifications

• Basic Mathematical Skills to perform simple calculations.
• Written and verbal communication in English is required.
• Basic problem-solving and time-management skills.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
• Familiarity with PDTs (Datalinks) and Digital HMI Screens/Chart Recorders.

Responsibilities

• Assist Blender Operators with processing of finished food products on processing lines.
• Assist with set up and break down of equipment as needed.
• Check-in ingredients and communicate discrepancies to supervisors and expeditor.
• Follow recipes with no deviations and assist with tests to meet viscosity and sensory specs.
• Train new staff and participate in safety trainings as required.
• Safely operate equipment and forklifts (plant certification).
• Comply with GMPs, SOPs and allergen control programs.
• Maintain quality and safety standards for food and people safety.
