Job summary

Bluegrass Ingredients seeks a Process Engineer to design, commission, optimize, and maintain food production processes. You will ensure safety, quality, and regulatory compliance while supporting continuous improvement and on-call coverage across locations.

Ideal candidates have a Bachelor’s in science/engineering and 5+ years of experience in food manufacturing, with hands-on skills in process design, equipment, and GMP/HACCP compliance; travel is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in science or engineering required.
• 5+ years in food manufacturing systems preferred.
• Proficiency in process design and production software.
• Strong knowledge of HACCP, GMP and sanitation.

Responsibilities

• Design and optimize food processing systems and workflows.
• Commission new products, production lines, equipment and systems.
• Ensure safety, quality and regulatory compliance across operations.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to solve manufacturing issues.
