A well-known organization is seeking a Cook/Food Preparer to ensure the preparation and serving of meals for individuals in their program. The role includes maintaining food safety standards, meal organization, and providing excellent customer service, requiring reliable experience in food preparation and hospitality.
The Cook/Food Preparer is responsible for preparing and serving hot meals and snacks for individuals attending the PROS program. This role ensures that food preparation aligns with health, safety, and dietary standards of our grant program while supporting the recovery-oriented environment of the program. The ideal candidate is organized, sanitary, and compassionate, with experience in meal preparation.
Duties:
At least one-year of related experience preferred in food preparation and hospitality. Must have reliable attendance, be punctual, have a pleasant attitude and good customer service skills, read, write, and speak English, and be able to send and receive email. Must be able to handle small amounts of cash and make change.
