Job description

Role Overview

The Food Prep is responsible for preparing food or assisting with food preparation, as well as assisting cashiers with facilitating orders to guests.

Responsibilities

• Serve customers in a timely and friendly manner.
• Properly handle inventory.
• Prepare the product.
• Ensure all food warmers are kept full.
• Maintain proper food handling procedures.
• Organize station.
• Perform proper cleaning and sanitizing procedures.
• Organize and clean stand, remove garbage, and clean equipment.

Qualifications

• All applicants must be at least 18 years of age.
• Ability to interact with co‑workers to assure compliance with company service standards.
• Ability to multitask in a fast‑paced, team‑oriented setting.
• Fluent in English.
• Ability to work in an open‑aired environment during all climate conditions.
• Ability to lift and carry items weighing 10‑30 pounds, occasionally 50 pounds, up and down stairs/ramps.
• Ability to work extended hours, nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to perform assigned production tasks including constant reaching, bending, stooping, wiping, pushing, and pulling for extended periods of time.
• Meet state and local health requirements for food handlers and alcoholic beverage services.
• High school diploma or equivalent; some college preferred.
• Practice safe work habits, follow all safety policies and procedures and regulations, complete company‑wide safety training and any additional job‑specific safety training.

Compensation

Pay rate: $18.50 per hour.
