Job summary

Qualifications

• Food Service Certificate as needed.
• Ability to read, write and follow verbal and written instructions.
• Capable of working quickly and concisely under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Prepare quality food and baked goods according to a planned menu
• Prepare a daily report that verifies transactions
• Understand what is included in a meal
• Ensure safe storage of food in sanitary conditions
• Serve food according to schedules and policies
• Use kitchen equipment safely, including knives
• Prepare a variety of food items, beverages, and more
• Add garnishments to enhance customer appeal
• Coordinate and assist in cleaning refrigerators, freezers and equipment
• Adhere to food safety regulations for sanitation, storage
• Follow uniform policy and communicate daily with the manager
• Monitor food temperatures to maintain quality and safety
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
