Job summary

Aramark is seeking a Food Service Worker to assist in food preparation, maintain sanitation and safety standards, and help with daily reporting. You will work under the supervision of the kitchen manager, ensuring meals are prepared accurately and served on schedule.

The role emphasizes following established procedures, maintaining cleanliness, and supporting in daily operational tasks to ensure high-quality meals for customers.

Qualifications

• Be able to read, write and follow verbal and written instructions.
• Work quickly and concisely under pressure.
• Maintain clean, sanitary workspace and follow safety practices.

Responsibilities

• Prepare quality food and baked goods according to a planned menu.
• Prepare a daily report that verifies transactions.
• Ensure storage of food in an accurate and sanitary manner.
• Serve food according to meal schedules, department policies and procedures.
• Use and care of kitchen equipment, especially knives.
• Coordinate and assist in major cleaning of refrigerators, freezers, and cooking and serving equipment.
• Adhere to all food safety regulations for sanitation, food handling, and storage.
• Connect with the Manager daily to understand and accurately prepare menu for the day.
• Maintain a clean and organized work and storage area.
