Job summary

Aramark is seeking a Food Service Worker to assist in meal preparation and maintain accurate cash receipts and meal records. The role supports the manager in daily reports, quality standards, and kitchen safety practices.

The position involves following the planned menu, ensuring proper food storage, and serving meals in line with schedules and department policies. It requires attention to sanitation, PPE usage, and consistent adherence to safety procedures.

Qualifications

• Food Service Certificate as needed.
• Ability to read, write, and follow verbal and written instructions.
• Be able to work quickly and concisely under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Prepare quality food and baked goods according to a planned menu.
• Prepare a daily report that verifies transactions.
• Understand what is inclusive of a meal.
• Ensure storage of food in an accurate and sanitary manner.
• Serve food according to meal schedules, department policies and procedures.
• Use and care of kitchen equipment, especially knives.
• Coordinate and assist in major cleaning of refrigerators, freezers, and cooking and serving equipment.
• Adhere to all food safety regulations for sanitation, food handling, and storage.
• Connect with the Manager daily to understand and accurately prepare menu for the day.
• Supervise the food temperature requirements.
