Job Overview: The Food Prep Person is responsible for preparing all fresh fruits and vegetables used in Golden Corral, including cutting, slicing, peeling, and ensuring freshness and presentation quality.

Operational Excellence:

• Prepare prep items according to product specifications and recipes.
• Maintain inventory of prep items, update guides as directed.
• Ensure optimal yield, label, date, and rotate all bulk produce and prepped items.
• Store all food in approved, covered containers.
• Follow buffet production systems to ensure quality and shelf life.
• Notify management of discrepancies such as spoilage or invoice errors.
• Assist in maintaining a full and clean buffet.

Cleanliness:

• Keep prep areas, coolers, equipment, and storage organized and sanitized.
• Follow health department laws and cleanliness standards.

Guest Service:

• Assist guests and perform administrative tasks during meal periods.
