Job Title: Food Prep Person

Our franchise organization, Himalaya Holdings, LLC dba Golden Corral, is currently seeking energetic, friendly individuals to join our team!

The quality, quantity, freshness, tastiness, and presentation of our products significantly impact guests' perceptions of Golden Corral. The Food Prep Person is responsible for preparing (cutting, slicing, peeling, etc.) all fresh fruits and vegetables used in Golden Corral. The freshness of our Cold Choice Buffet reflects our commitment to high quality.

Responsibilities

• Prepare prep items according to Golden Corral product specifications and recipes.
• Maintain a standard inventory of prep items as per the Prep Production Guide, updating as directed by management.
• Ensure optimal yield of products throughout their cycle.
• Label, date, and rotate all bulk produce and prepped items.
• Store all food items in approved, covered containers.
• Follow the buffet production system to ensure quality and shelf life compliance.
• Report discrepancies such as spoilage, invoice errors, or excessive waste to the manager.
• Assist in maintaining a clean, full buffet area.

Cleanliness

• Keep the prep area, including coolers, equipment, and storage, clean and organized.
• Follow health department laws and standards.

Guest Service

• Assist guests during meal periods and perform administrative tasks as needed.
