Job summary

Sodexo Live in New Orleans is seeking a part-time Food Prep Helper. You will assist with the preparation and service of vibrant menus and maintain clean, orderly work areas to support a welcoming dining experience.

This role emphasizes teamwork, reliability, and safety in a fast-paced kitchen, with varying shifts and open availability preferred; training and benefits are provided where applicable.

Qualifications

• 0–1 year of related food prep experience.
• Willingness to work flexible days/shifts.
• Ability to read recipes and follow directions.

Responsibilities

• Reads recipes and assists in the preparation of hot and/or cold foods using a variety of kitchen utensils/equipment
• Clean and sanitize work stations and production equipment
• May have basic cooking responsibilities, i.e., cook vegetables, chicken for salads.
• Attends work and shows for scheduled shift on time with satisfactory regularity
• Other duties may be assigned and can differ among accounts, depending on business necessities and client requirements.

As a Food Prep Helper at Sodexo Live, you are a pair of helping hands and a good mood motivator.
