Job summary

Catallia Mexican Foods is seeking an experienced Sanitation Technician to uphold sanitation standards across the production facility. You will work with production, quality, and maintenance teams to ensure food safety and quality while following SSOPs and GMPs.

The role requires lifting up to 50 lbs, weekend shifts, and rotating schedules. Candidate should have prior food manufacturing sanitation experience and a high school diploma or equivalent, and be comfortable in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and handle pans/containers.
• Must be available to work weekends, including peak season.
• Must understand and follow SDS and chemical handling practices.
• Must be able to work irregular and rotating shifts.
• Experience in food manufacturing sanitation is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Follow safety policies and wear PPE as required.
• Maintain cleanliness of production areas, offices, and grounds.
• Demonstrate proper sanitation of equipment, conveyors, ovens, and surfaces.
• Perform pre-operational sanitation inspections before production.
• Operate sanitation equipment like pressure washers safely.

Education
