Job summary

Packaged Produce Solutions LLC in Texas is seeking a Sanitation Technician to maintain a clean and safe production plant, including machinery and surrounding areas, in a refrigerated and hot environment.

You will perform daily sanitation activities, ensure food safety and defense, follow GMP/HACCP, manage cleaning chemicals, and communicate with Food Safety/QA and Production teams. The role requires a high school diploma or GED and 2+ years in food sanitation.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED.
• 2+ years of sanitation experience in food manufacturing.
• Knowledge of HACCP, FDA and OSHA requirements.
• Able to lift up to 30 pounds and work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily sanitation activities within the processing plant and surrounding areas.
• Ensure food safety and food defense in the manufacturing plant.
• Implement GMP and HACCP procedures related to cleanliness, food safety and pest control.
• Promote a safe work environment by applying the sanitation program and safety best practices.
• Assist in maintaining cleaning chemicals in compliance with OSHA and FDA regulations.
• Communicate with Food Safety/QA and Production teams daily.
• Complete sanitation records, monitoring programs and required forms.
• Perform related duties as needed and support continuous improvement with a positive team spirit.
