Job summary

The Judge Group is seeking a Maintenance Technician for a Northeast Pennsylvania facility in Allentown, PA. This role supports a food manufacturing operation with multiple shifts and a focus on equipment reliability.

You will troubleshoot electrical and mechanical systems, work on PLCs, pumps, motors and conveyors, perform preventive maintenance, and document work orders while adhering to safety and sanitation standards.

Qualifications

• Experience in industrial maintenance, preferably in food or beverage manufacturing.
• Strong electrical and mechanical troubleshooting skills.
• Experience working with pumps, motors, bearings, gearboxes, and conveyors.
• Working knowledge of PLCs and industrial controls.
• Ability to read electrical schematics and mechanical drawings.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair electrical and mechanical equipment.
• Diagnose electrical controls, motors, sensors, switches, and related components.
• Troubleshoot PLCs and automated production equipment.
• Repair and maintain pumps, gearboxes, motors, conveyors, and production machinery.
• Perform preventive and predictive maintenance.
• Identify root causes of equipment failures and make effective repairs.
• Assist with equipment installations and improvements.
• Complete maintenance documentation and work orders.
• Follow all plant safety, food safety, and sanitation requirements.
• Work closely with Production and Maintenance teams to minimize downtime.
