Job summary

Schedule is 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM, Monday through Friday, with overtime or weekend work as needed. The education/experience requirements include a high school diploma or GED and 6 months or more of machine operation experience, with forklift

Qualifications

  • Prior work-related experience and/or training.
  • Intermediate level of computer/technological skills.
  • Ability to train for forklift certification.

Responsibilities

  • Set up and clean, if necessary, all equipment prior to the scheduled start time to ensure on time start-ups.
  • Perform quality checks on product being produced, recording information and adjusting to meet specs.
  • Monitor spiral freezer operations, check for ice buildup and take action to maximize quality.
  • Perform necessary sanitation duties to get the system back up and running in a set time period.
  • Troubleshoot equipment that is not running effectively.
  • Adhere to safety policies and GMPs; maintain sanitary conditions and report any issues.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
