Job summary

Foster Farms is seeking TEAM Members to operate and monitor packaging and processing machinery in a wet, cool production environment. You will follow strict safety, sanitation, and quality standards while supporting various plant areas.

The role includes paying attention to product flow, preventing mis-cuts through proper machine settings, and collaborating with maintenance for repairs. Attire and shift flexibility are required, along with adherence to USDA standards.

Qualifications

• Basic mechanical aptitude and use of basic hand tools.
• Self-motivated with ability to work in wet and cool environments.
• Must maintain safety and attendance as a priority.
• Able to lift 50-80 lbs and stand for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Set up machines before shift and prepare for production.
• Monitor and adjust machines during operation for product flow.
• Check for mis-cuts due to settings and correct as needed.
• Notify Maintenance of malfunctions or repairs.
• Maintain housekeeping and assist plant personnel as needed.
• Assist maintenance with repairs and overhauls.
• Operate equipment such as leg processors and wrappers per shift needs.
• Support other plant areas 10% of time and maintain sanitation.
