Cascade Prime Corp. in Portland, OR is hiring a full-time Shift Leader to oversee daily operations in a fast-paced food packaging plant. You will lead a team, ensure safety and quality, and drive production targets while maintaining a collaborative team environment.

The role requires a minimum of 2 years in a supervisory capacity, a high school diploma, and strong communication skills. Forklift experience and OSHA knowledge are advantageous for success in this position.

Formación

• 2+ years in a leadership or supervisory role within a manufacturing or production environment.
• Detail-oriented with strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Experience with food packaging processes and industry standards.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.

Responsabilidades

• Oversee the daily operations of the production line, ensuring efficiency and adherence to safety protocols.
• Manage and mentor a team of 8-12 employees, providing clear instructions and guidance.
• Monitor production output and quality, addressing any issues promptly to maintain optimal performance.
• Maintain accurate records of production data, including downtime and quality control metrics.
• Conduct regular safety inspections and enforce compliance with all safety regulations.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve production challenges and implement process improvements.
• Train new employees and provide ongoing support to ensure they understand their roles and responsibilities.
• Communicate effectively with management to report on production progress and address any concerns.
