Job summary

Great Wolf Lodge in Perryville, MD is seeking a Food Outlet Manager to lead the daily operations of a food outlet. You will establish standards, train staff, coordinate schedules, inspect workflow, manage inventory, and ensure equipment readiness.

The role emphasizes customer service, safety, and efficient financial handling. The ideal candidate has at least 1 year of supervisory experience in a food/restaurant setting, strong conflict-resolution skills, and flexibility to work nights, weekends,

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Training and development of staff for potential career advancement.
• Schedule staff to maximize customer satisfaction and meet financial objectives.
• Conduct performance reviews and handle personnel matters.
• Serve as point of contact for customer escalations per Great Wolf policies.
• Take food and beverage orders, process via POS, and prepare customer orders.
• Maintain accurate cash handling and daily financial reporting.
• Ensure food/beverage readiness and inventory levels, and coordinate equipment maintenance.

The Manager is responsible for standards' establishment, staff training, schedule/resource coordination, workflow inspection, inventory maintenance and equipment supplies.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Responsible for training and developing of staff for potential career advancement, providing feedback, and making personnel related decisions
• Ensures staff are scheduled effectively to maximize customer satisfaction and financial objectives are met
• Responsible for performance reviews, investigations, discipline, salary planning, and all other staff related functions
• Point of contact for customer escalations and ensuring issues are resolved consistent with Great Wolf policies
• Responsible for interaction with customers to take food and beverage orders, process via Point of Sale system, and preparing customer orders
• Ensures balance of registers and daily reporting of financials
• Maintains food and beverage readiness by notifying employees of service standards, ensuring adequate supply and food inventory levels, and keeping equipment operating by troubleshooting, maintenance, and/or calling for repair

Basic Qualifications & Skills

• High School diploma or equivalent experience
• 1+ year supervisory experience in a food/restaurant setting
• Demonstrated ability to effectively resolve conflict
• Willingness to work flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and/or Holidays as needed

• Thorough understanding of sanitation related skills and experience taking precautions to ensure clean food environment

Estimated Salary Range:

$65000 - $65000 annual base salary

An employee's pay position within the salary range will be based on several factors, including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, travel requirements, revenue-based metrics, any contractual agreements, and business or organizational needs.
