Job summary

Southern HealthCare Management is seeking a Food and Nutrition Manager for a long-term care and skilled nursing facility in Florida. You will assist with oversight of the Food and Nutrition Department, plan and present meals, and ensure the nutritional needs of residents and patients are met.

You will supervise cooks and aides, ensure compliance with state and federal regulations, and collaborate with HR on benefits.

Qualifications

• Assist the Food and Nutrition Manager with oversight of the Food and Nutrition Department in a long-term care and Skilled Nursing Center.
• Assist with the preparation and presentation of food to our Residents and Patients.
• Ensure all meals meet the nutritional needs of our Residents and Patients.
• Oversee the Departments Cooks and Aides to ensure the Dietary Program is in compliance with State and Federal Regulations.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Successful completion of (or current enrollment in) coursework approved by the Dietary Managers Association preferred.
• One (1) year supervised food service experience in an institutional setting with focus on planning, preparing and servicing regular and therapeutic diets required.
