Job summary

Palm City Nursing & Rehab Center seeks a dedicated Food Service Supervisor to support the Food and Nutrition Manager in a long-term care setting. You will assist with meal planning, preparation, and ensuring meals meet residents' nutritional needs.

Qualifications

• Assist the Food and Nutrition Manager with oversight of the Food and Nutrition Department in a long-term care and Skilled Nursing Center.
• Assist with the preparation and presentation of food to our Residents and Patients
• Ensure all meals meet the nutritional needs of our Residents and Patients
• Oversee the Departments Cooks and Aides to ensure the Dietary Program is in compliance with State and Federal Regulations.

Responsibilities

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Successful completion of (or current enrollment in) coursework approved by the Dietary Managers Association preferred.
• One (1) year supervised food service experience in an institutional setting with focus on planning, preparing and servicing regular and therapeutic diets required.
