Job summary

Southern HealthCare Management in Palm City, FL is seeking a dedicated Food and Nutrition Manager to oversee meal planning and nutrition services in a long-term care and skilled nursing center.

You will collaborate with the Food and Nutrition Manager, connect with HR about benefits, tour the facility, and support residents with therapeutic diets. This role offers growth opportunities and a strong team culture.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Successful completion of (or current enrollment in) coursework approved by the Dietary Managers Association preferred.
• One year supervised food service experience in an institutional setting with focus on planning, preparing and servicing regular and therapeutic diets.

Responsibilities

• Assist Food and Nutrition Manager with oversight of the Food and Nutrition Department in a long-term care and Skilled Nursing Center.
• Assist with the preparation and presentation of food to our Residents and Patients.
• Ensure all meals meet the nutritional needs of our Residents and Patients.
• Oversee the Departments Cooks and Aides to ensure the Dietary Program is in compliance with State and Federal Regulations.

Education

High school diploma or equivalent

Dietary Managers Association coursework preferred
