Job summary

The Judge Group is seeking a hands-on Production Supervisor for a food manufacturing facility in Winton, CA. You will oversee daily production activities, lead front-line staff, and ensure GMP and food safety compliance on the plant floor.

Required: Associate’s degree and 5+ years of supervisory experience in dairy or related foods. Spanish is a plus; English fluency is essential. This on-site role focuses on safety, efficiency, and team development.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree required.
• 5+ years of supervisory experience.
• Background in food manufacturing (dairy or related food/beverage production strongly preferred).

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily production activities through shift leads, setting clear priorities and goals each day.
• Own front-line staffing decisions — hiring, performance reviews, recognition, and corrective action.
• Build and maintain standard operating procedures for daily workflows.
• Set staffing levels, schedules, and task assignments to meet production demand.
• Identify training gaps and ensure staff certifications stay current.
• Champion a safe working environment on the floor at all times.
• Stay level-headed under pressure, making clear decisions and keeping leadership informed.
• Drive team engagement and performance through consistent, fair leadership.
• Support ongoing process-improvement efforts within the department.
• Track performance against KPIs set by the Operations Manager.
• Spot early warning signs of operational issues and act before they become problems.
• Ensure the team consistently follows GMP.
• English fluency required; Spanish proficiency a plus.
• Comfortable working with standard computer systems/software.
