Food Manufacturing Production Associate 3rd Shift

Position Summary

The Production Associate is responsible for the safe and efficient production of finished goods. Responsibilities include maintaining personal and team safety, ensuring food safety, and upholding product quality. Shift times and activities vary depending on department needs, with tasks ranging from dough handling to machinery operation and sanitation. The environment is fast-paced and teamwork-oriented.

Requirements

• Previous sanitation experience is a plus.
• Experience working in a fast-paced team environment is preferred.
• Able to stand and walk on concrete for up to 12 hours.
• Able to lift 35 lbs frequently and up to 50 lbs occasionally.
• Able to ascend or descend ladders, stairs, scaffolding, and ramps.
• Able to work in temperatures ranging from 30° to 100°F or above for extended periods.
• Able to perform repetitive tasks for up to 12 hours with constant hand and wrist movement.

Quality & Food Safety Requirements

• Comply with USDA, FDA, and ODA regulations.
• Understand and perform SOPs, GMPs, and SSOPs.
• Report all Food Safety concerns immediately to your Team Leader.
• Follow all safety guidelines, including LO/TO, HazCom, Confined Spaces, and PPE, to maintain a safe working environment.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Load raw materials onto equipment.
• Inspect products for quality defects.
• Package finished goods into cases or cartons.
• Place finished cases onto pallets.
• Perform rework when needed, using a scale for accuracy.
• Conduct system quality checks to ensure products meet specifications.
• Adjust and operate machinery as needed.
• Sanitize equipment and production areas as assigned.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
