Job summary

FEAST Detroit in Inkster, MI is hiring a Food Manufacturing Production Associate to support the growth of local food brands. This full-time role offers a Monday–Friday schedule (9am–5pm) and an hourly wage of $16.00–$17.00, depending on experience.

You will prep ingredients, assist with packing and weighing, and follow recipes and safety protocols in a warehouse setting. The team emphasizes accuracy, teamwork, and a positive attitude as part of daily production duties.

• Prepping of raw ingredients for food manufacturing according to recipes.
• Lifting up to 40 pounds.
• Packing and weighing product.
• Following recipes that require precise measurement.
• Following safety and OSHA requirements.

Overview

• Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Physical activities requiring full body motion for standing, lifting, crouching, reaching, stretching, balancing, walking for 8 to 10 hour shifts
  • Prepping of raw ingredients for food manufacturing in accordance with provided recipes
  • Lifting up to 40 pounds
  • Packing and weighing product
  • Ability to follow specific recipes requiring math skills for measuring
  • Following safety and OSHA requirements

  • Physically able to stand, walk, use full body motion for long periods of time
  • Lifting up to 40 pounds
  • Kitchen prep experience is a plus!
